This role is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact in the fast-growing solar industry while working within Solnet’s German operations.As our Technical Sales Manager, you’ll work closely with customers and our internal sales and engineering teams to deliver tailor-made solar solutions. If you’re passionate about clean energy, driven by results, and eager to shape the future of solar, we’d love to hear from you!Technical Sales Manager for our European C&I Sales division will be responsible for technical sales, pre-sales engineering, and technical business development activities. This role requires a combination of engineering expertise and sales acumen to engage with clients and key accounts, understand their technical needs, and provide customized solar solutions.What you'll be doing: Present technical proposals and sales pitches to potential customers.Work with the sales team to develop pricing strategies, financial models, and ROI analysisConduct site assessments and feasibility studies for solar PV installations.'Provide technical expertise and explain solar system design, capacity, and performance estimates to clients.Collaborate with the engineering team to create design layouts, BOM (Bill of Materials), and specifications.Assist in the preparation of RFPs (Request for Proposals) and tenders.Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and grid policies.Stay updated on the latest solar technologies, industry trends, and government policies.Conduct competitor analysis to refine sales strategies.Recommend new products, financing models, and solutions to clients.What we're looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.2+ years of experience in technical sales, solar EPC, or renewable energy solutions.Strong knowledge of solar PV design, power generation, and energy storage solutions.Experience with solar design software (Helioscope, PVsyst, AutoCAD, etc.) is a plus.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and travel to client locations as needed.Fluent written and spoken English and German language skillsWhy Join Solnet?Be part of the future – work in a booming industry with high-impact projectsMake a difference – help businesses transition to sustainable energyGrow your career – we support professional development and internal growthWork with cutting-edge tech – smart solar solutions that redefine energyA dynamic team – a flexible, supportive, and innovative work cultureWho we are:Solnet Group is a leader in Smart Solar Solutions, providing IoT-enabled solar utilities for businesses across Europe.
